rep_npr_permutation_list2index

Arguments:

  • number_of_items,number_list

Description:

Return the lexicographic index in which this permutation is found within a list of all possible permutations.

 
number_list must be in the form of 0,1,2,3.... , but can be in any order. However, the size of it must be less than or equal to number_of_items. That means you can exclude some numbers.
